10 Health Facts 1

There are so many things that takes place in our body which are very important, on a normal day an average man doesn't know half of the essential things that take place in his body, therefore an average man wouldn't know what is right to do to his body, what he is meant to take and what he should consume, which wouldn't cause any negative impact on his body now or later.
I would be posting facts that can help us understand our body more, from time to time. With this facts we would know the right things that can be consumed in our body and the one's that should be dropped.

HEALTH FACTS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT

1. Banging or hitting your head on a wall burns 150 calories an hour.

2. In some part of the world babies are protected from disease by bathing the in beer.

3. There are more than 1,000 chemicals in a a cup of coffee, only 26 have been tested among the 1,000 chemicals, and half caused cancer in rats.

4. You burn more calories sleeping, compared to the calories burnt when watching television.

5. Smoking too heavily can cause blindness.

6. Right-handed people live on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.

7. You are about 1 centimeter taller in the morning than in the evening.

8. During the entire lifetime of an average man, he would eat about 60,000 pounds of food, and 60,000 pounds of weighs about 6 Elephants.

9. Coughs and sneezes are not the only way diseases are spread. A single bacteria cell can multiply to become more than 8 million cells in less than 24 hours. Now imagine what's on the toilet door handle you just touched, the taps and even on other people's hands.

10. Flies can't eat solid food, the would vomit on food to make it soft before sucking it back up. Flies will eat anything from poo, to your roast dinner. Speaking of poo, a typical bowel movement can contain up to 100 billion potentially disease-causing organisms some of which end up in the air and on the toilet even anything likely to be touched or contaminated with feces. This include lavatory seats(water closets), flush handles, door handles, wash basins, taps, floors, tiling, light switches, potties, baby-changing mats etc.
